We know from experience that you might actually feel less well-informed at the heart of power than you ever did as a civilian. And you’re in so many meetings, you’re all but running on fumes.

Information you’re provided with internally is often poor, sometimes flat wrong, and you’re not given a true menu of conceivable paths forward.

We will provide a brief you can consume inside 15 minutes, giving you a broader range of options than you’re otherwise likely being presented.

Our core products

For major conflicts, we will produce:

1) An ~8-page Strategic Options Memo
Directed at: key advisors to leaders in government.

2) A 1.5-page Recommendation
Directed at: Presidents and Prime Ministers.

3) A case study of the best like-example of this policy from history, and how practically it was implemented (analogizing with the present day).

We hope others read what we produce, but our intended audience is very senior Western decision-makers.

We wish to host a genuine “marketplace of ideas”. This is what eminent traditional media used to do – but for various reasons today has ceased to offer.

From such contestation of ideas, more imaginative recommendations. And, if we’re able to cut through, better policy.

We will only commission research that doesn’t already exist, to further round out the big-picture jigsaw of a conflict. (We are not a substitute breaking news organisation.)
